AATO takes up various tourism related issues to PCCF

Port Blair, Oct 31: The President, Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), Mr M. Vinod has taken up various grievances of travel agents, tour operators and other related service providers and demanded for quick solutions hindering the tourism industry.
In a letter addressed to Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF), Department of Environment & Forest the President, AATO, Mr. Vinod has requested PCCF for opening of Jollybuoy/Red Skin on all days, as due to high flow of tourist and the shortage of boats are leaving tourist upset.
Mr. Vinod further said that AATO has always raised the issue of asking ID cards of all members while issuing forest permit for visiting Jollybuoy/Redskin Island by the forest personnel inspite which only one Id card can be made mandatory for all members of family. He informed that due to poor internet connectivity at Port Blair it becomes very difficult to collect or download the high pixel id cards due to which if the id cards are any how managed to be printed, it is further denied saying id card not clear making denial of forest permit.
Mr. Vinod further requested PCCF to intervene in the above issues making sure that the Tourism gets streamlined.
