Port Blair, Feb 11: National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GoI organized a Regional Level Quiz Competition in a virtual platform on 7th and 8th January 2021. In the competition, Mr. K. Dilleswar Rao & Mr. Nikhil R. Nair of ANIIMS who represented Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) won the Second prize in the Regional Level Quiz competition out of the total 8 team from other States & Union Territories.
The Project Director, A & N AIDS Control Society, Dr. M. Joy distributed the prize money of Rs.40,000/-(Rs.20,000/- each) in the form of Demand Draft to the winners.
Certificates were also awarded to the winners jointly by Project Director Puducherry SACS & Project Director ANACS.
The objective of organizing this competition was to provide platform to exchange information on issues associated with HIV & AIDS, taboos and myths and to channelize the power of our youth in positive direction and assess the level of Information Education Communication in the territories with the national level.
