Andaman Tang Soo do Korean Karate team wins 23 Golds, 13 Silvers and 13 Bronzes

Port Blair, Nov 08: For the first time in the history of A & N Islands, Our Islands Tang Soo do Korean Karate team have created history by winning 49 Medals i.e, 23 Golds, 13 Silvers and 13 Bronzes, in 6th National Tang Soo Do Championship which held at Anandham Ashram, New Delhi from 02nd to 4th November,2018.

The 12 Players Team was headed by the Chief Patron ITSSAAN Smti. R.S. Uma Bharatthy. The team participated in all the events such as Individual & Group events in Sparring, Poomse, Breaking, Weapon & Self Defence Techniques in various age group and weight categories and won in all the events by bringing name, fame & laurels to our Islands.

Further seeing the regular participation and regular Achievements of the Players in National Arena our, Master M.D.Selvam Technical Director and Chief Instructor has been awarded “The best Coach” of the year 2018 by the National Tang Soo Do Technical Committee of the Federation of India. The best coach Trophy was handed over by the Guruo ke guru Mahaguru, Padmashree, Padmabhushan, Dronachariya Awardee Mahabali Satpal Maharaj which was received by our Chief Patron of ITSSAAN Mrs. R.S. Uma Bharatthy, Member State Sports Council in presence of Grand Master Devender Dutt Gaur.

The ITSSAAN President Murugesan, Balaji Jewellery, Assistant Instructors, Seniors, Pioneer students & well wishers have congratulated our Master and the team Players for their outstanding achievements.
