India International Trade Fair 2017: A&N Pavilion to showcase handicrafts, tourism services & other opportunities in Isles

Port Blair, Nov. 12: India International Trade Fair (IITF) is an Annual Mega Trade Event which has been one of the cornerstones of Indian trading scene in the recent history organized by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) from Nov. 14 to 27 every year at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. During the India International Trade Fair, the Andaman & Nicobar Administration displays various development programmes beside providing information on tourism, trade and industries to attract investment in these Islands and also to create quality employment opportunity for exposure with mainland customers.

The theme of India Trade Promotion Organization for India International Trade Fair 2017 is ‘Start up India: Stand up India’ and the theme of Andaman & Nicobar Administration is ‘Indigenous Handicrafts’. The Andaman & Nicobar Pavilion will showcase handicrafts, tourism services and opportunities of these Islands. Besides, local spices and virgin coconut oil will be on display and sales. The Departments of Industries, Agriculture and Tourism of the A&N Administration will be among the other participating Departments in the 37th Chapter IITF-2017.

The Lt. Governor, A & N Islands, Admiral D.K. Joshi, PVSM. AVSM, YSM, NSM, VSM (Retd.) will inaugurate the Andaman & Nicobar Pavilion on Nov. 14th at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
