Port Blair, Jan 03: The Janasena Party has requested Director of Shipping Services continue previous ferry schedule of Baratang Ferry as the previous schedule was very convenient for people of Middle Andaman.
In a letter addressed to the Director of Shipping Services, A & N Administration, Port Blair, Mr. K. Venkat Ram Babu, State President of Janasena Party mentioned that that there was a proper schedule of Baratang ferry but for unknown reasons, the schedule was changed without even consulting Public representatives.
He added that because of such moves people of Middle Andaman region are facing a lot of difficulties.
