Nehru Remembered by ANPCC

Port Blair, Nov 14: Along with rest part of India the Andaman Nicobar Pradesh Congress Committee has also observed the 128th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India and architect of modern India , on 14th November, 2017 at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair. At the outset the PCC President Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has garlanded the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru followed by floral tribute by senior leaders and supporters of Congress party as well as the general public attended the function. Mr. Kuldeep said that India of today is because of Nehru ji’s ideas and lifetime dedication to the nation. “Nehru ji’s life and vision, his struggles and his achievements were no less than epic. If India is a vibrant democracy and the largest developing economy today, it is because of the initiatives of Nehru to introduce green revolution and launch various multifaceted developmental programmes, the PSUs and premier institutions of learning,” Mr. Kuldeep added.
