Port Blair, Dec 01:In a simple function held today in the Chamber of Chairperson, PBMC, the Council bid farewell to five (05) senior officials viz. S/Shri K. Gopalakrishnan, Senior Rapporteur, Y.Rama Rao, Tax Collector, B.Karuppaiah, WCM, Kesar Kumar, Chowkidar, S. Muniyandi, Sanitary Mazdoor of Port Blair Municipal Council who have rendered more than thirty years of their valuable services in the Council. Speaking on the occasion, Smti Vinita Malhotra, Sr. Vice Chairperson of the Council lauded the outstanding services rendered by the officials with sincere honest and to the entire satisfaction of their superiors. She also emphasized that by the retirement of the officials, the Council will definitely miss the services rendered by them but this is an official procedure that everyone has to retire from service on attaining the age of sixty years. She wished them all a peaceful and healthy post retired life and assured all possible help from the Council. The senior officials present in the function also applauded the services rendered by the officials and wished them all success for their post retirement life. On this occasion all the monetary benefits admissible to the employees were credited in their respective accounts and PPO were handed over to them.
