Personality Development Residential Camp by VKV

Port Blair, Apr 04: The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya organized 4th Personality Development Camp (Residential) for the students of class VI and VII. The purpose of this camp is to inculcate discipline, time management & values among the students. The three-day camp was started on 30th March, 2018 at 3 p.m. Altogether 72 students reported to the camp. The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. Francis Xavier, Principal, JNRM, on 31st March. The chief guest, in his address, exhorted and motivated the students grow and excel in life. He also shared his experience and asked the students to learn innovative skills.
In the 3- day camp, many classes were conducted on various topics such as Time Management, Healthy Personalities, Ideal Student, Meaning of Kendra Prayer etc. by different resource persons besides many other activities such as Yogabhayas and Bhajan.
The camp was concluded by Venkatesh C.H, Principal, ITI, at 3 p.m, on 2nd April,2018. On the valedictory ceremony day, parents of the camper students were also invited. some students shared their camp experience.
Earlier, B. Latha, Principal welcomed the gathering. The camp report was read by P. Divya, R. Balaraju proposed the vote of thanks.
