Port Blair, Jan 22: As part of celebrations of Police Raising week – 2020, on 20/01/2020 the Police Station Campbell Bay organized Police Mela cum cultural programme at Mini Stadium, Campbell Bay.  In the Mela, stalls from different defence establishments, Self Help Groups and Local vendors were also placed. In the event HODs / HOOs of local administration, Defence establishments and PRIs were invited. The Chief Guest of the event was Comdt. P. K. Kushwaha, Commanding Officer, DHQ 10, Nicobar and Guest of honour was Col. Prashant Nair, Commanding Officer, 172 TA Madras Reg. Various performances of Dance and Singing were performed by the locals of C/Bay. It was full packed event and people enjoyed it thoroughly.  Mr. Yama Rao and groups was adjudged as Best Dancer and Mr. Babu was adjudged as best Singer. After this bada khana was also organized for the invitees and police families. The memories of the event will be cherished by locals for long time.
