SCHOOL CHILDREN OF MAHATAMA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL VISITS COAST GUARD AIR ENCLAVE

Port Blair, Dec 01:On 01stDec 17, 53 School children of Mahatma Gandhi International School, Port Blair along with Head Mistress MrsLeena Das and four teachers visited Coast Guard Air Enclave(Port Blair). The team included children of various age groups. During the visit, the children had the opportunity to see the Coast Guard Surveillance Aircraft Dornier and Chetak Helicopter closely. The students were briefed on the various roles as well as capabilities of Indian Coast Guard Aviation arm and its utility in the backdrop of A&N Islands. The students were very curious to knowmore about the role and capabilities of Coast Guard Aviation in safe guarding our National interests around theIsles. Young and curious minds were educated and motivated to serve our Nation as good citizen at all times. MrsLeena Das thanked Coast Guard Authorities for arranging such a fruitful visit of being educative and motivational in nature for upcoming tech savvy young generation.A communiqué received from PRO Coast Guard.
