Port Blair, Nov 12: The Police Training School, Prothrapur, A&N Islands organized a three days course on “Amendments in Criminal Laws” from 7th to 9th November, 2017 for in-service police personnel from the rank of Constable to Inspector under the overall supervision of Smti. Usha Rangnani, IPS, Principal, PTS, Prothrapur. The main objective of the course is to enhance knowledge about latest amendment in Criminal law. During the training programme Shri. K.Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS, Shri Quamuruddin Ld. APP, Shri Anando Halder Ld. Spl. PP, Inspr. Jennifer Paul, Inspr. Abita Bachan, Sub-Inspr. Mohd. Elias, Sub-Inspr. D.K. Seal have delivered lectures on the topics like- Amendment of the IPC U/s 354 A,354B,354C,354D, POCSO Act., JJAct., Supreme Court Guidelines of Arrested Person, Indian Evidence Act. and Provision of CrPC . Altogether, 16 in-service Police personnel from various Police Stations/Units participated in the training programme. The training programme was concluded by the Vice Principal, PTS by emphasizing the main objectives of the course and its thorough implementation during the valediction session. The course was coordinated by SI D.K. Seal, PTS Prothrapur under the supervision of Vice Principal, PTS, Prothrapur.
