Port Blair, Feb 02: The Police Training School, A&N Islands organized a two days course on “Soft Skills & Personality Development” from 29th – 30th January, 2018 for in-service police personnel from the rank of Police Constable to Inspector under the overall supervision of Mrs. UshaRangnani, IPS, Principal, PTS. The main objective of the course is to upgrade the soft skills of police personnel. During the training programme, Mr. K. Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS, Mr. Ravinder Rao, Dr. N.Rajavel, Professor, JNRM, Port Blair, Brahma Kumaris, Port Blair, Mr. T. Sebasteen, Rtd. (DySP), Inspr. R.K. Sharma, CLI, SI Mohd, Elias, PS CCS and SI D.K. Seal, PTS delivered lectures on the topics like – motivation, communication skills, time management, stress management, conflict management, leadership & team building and interpersonal relations during Law & Order duties and other essential duties. Altogether, 17 Police personnel of various Police Stations/Units participated in the training programme. Mr. K. Michal Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS concluded the course by emphasizing the objectives of the course and its thorough implementation. The course was coordinated by SI D.K. Seal, PTS, Prothrapur.
