WEATHER AND FISHERMAN WARNING

Port Blair, Dec 01: On Friday Heavy (07 to 11 cm) rain likely at isolated places over Nicobar Islands. Under the influence of wind speed between 30 to 40 kmph gusting to 50 kmph fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. On SaturdayHeavy to very heavy (07 to 20 cm) rain very likely to occur at isolated places over Nicobar Islands. Heavy (07 to 11 cm) rain very likely to occur at isolated places over Andaman Islands. Under the squally wind speed between 40 to 50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off A & N coast.
On Sunday Heavy (07 to 11 cm) rain likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Under the squally wind speed between 45 to 55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph along and off Andaman & Nicobar Islands and adjoining sea areas, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.

Under the influence of Well Marked Low Pressure area over South Andaman sea and adjoining strait of Malacca, strong North to Northeasterly wind speed between 30 to 40 kmph gusting to 50 kmph and moderate to rough seas likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coasts. Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. Source IMD.
