Port Blair, Jan 12: As part of 70th Army Day Celebrations and with an aim to promote good health in the society, the Army Component of the Andaman and Nicobar Command organised a Wellness camp and Blood Donation camp on 09 Jan 2018 at Birchgunj Military Station with help of a team of doctors from INHS, Dhanvantri & GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. The camp with its theme of ‘Swasth Pariwar Swasth Samaj’ primarily focused on the complete health check up of families and their wards and educated them about healthy way of living. A total of 110 families underwent holistic medical check up including dental and bone density check. Mrs Puja Gautam, Chairperson AWWA (Port Blair) spoke to the families and highlighted the importance of well being of ladies to ensure good health of their family and in turn the society.
