Port Blair, Nov 1: Mr. AjoyBairagi State General Secretary BJP & Member of HMAC A&N Islands, Mr. P. SrinivasRao, Adhyaksh ZP, N&M Andaman, Mr. ShyamalBhowmick, Pradhan, R. K. Gram & District General Secretary BJP Diglipur, Mr.AsitBaroi, District General Secretary BJP Diglipur and other dignitaries met the Principal Chief Conservation of Forest at his office Haddo, Port Blair on 30.10.2018.
During the meeting, they requested the Principal Chief Conservation of Forest to supply logs of Padauk, Teak, Superior Hard Wood, Standard Hard Wood etc., to the Saw Mills functioning on PPP Mode at Diglipur. They also stated that, for the past one and half years the settlers, inhabitants and poor villagers are unable to renovate, re-construct and repair their existing hutments, semi-permanent houses and small old type houses due to stopped supply of wood logs to Saw Mill at Diglipur.
