Port Blair,Dec 03: Under the aegis of HQ Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC), INHS Dhanvantari and INS Baaz, in coordination with Community Health Centre (CHC), Campbell Bay organized a Multi-Speciality Medical Camp at Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar Island recently for the local residents.

The camp was organised to mark Navy Week 2019 and was inaugurated by the Commanding Officer of INS Baaz in the presence of the DSP and Assistant Commissioner of Campbell Bay as well as the Medical Officers of CHC, Army, Navy and Coast Guard. A group of five specialists including a Dental Surgeon, Medical Specialist, Paediatrician, Ophthalmologist and ENT Specialist along with Medical Officers of Army, INS Baaz and Coast Guard and two medical assistants from INHS Dhanvantari conducted the Multi-Speciality clinic. The Medical Specialist and Paediatrician also reviewed the admitted patients of the CHC and offered their expert advice on treatment. The camp met with an enthusiastic response from the locals and the CHC received over 310 patients.
