Port Blair, Nov 06:  On toady Mr. N.K.Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council along with Smti.Sheela Singh, (Chairperson Sub Committee for Water Works) called upon the Director Health Service Dr. Omkar Singh.

They discussed various issues pertaining to the patients who are being referred to mainland for further treatment after getting every possible treatment at the G.B.Pant hospital and briefed about the problems being faced by the patients belonging to South Indian origin who are at times referred to other places like Kolkatta or other Northern states.

Various issues related to Health Sector was also discussed .After a persistent hearing the Director Health Service assured every possible help from his office in this regard.
