Port Blair, Sept 16: The Forest Department today said that the Govt. Saw Mill, Betapur, Middle Andaman has sufficient quantity of sawn timbers of various sizes in different categories are available in the stock. The details of the sizes are shown below:

“If any Individual/ Private firms/ Govt. or Private organizations/ SSI units require the same for his or her local use may submit the requirement with appropriate and authentic documents. Further, it is also informed that the party can submit the indent alongwith the authentic self attested documents and collect the timber on the same day. “A rebate of 25% will be given on all categories of short length”. For any details the party may contact ACF, Govt. Saw Mill, Betapur (Phone No. 03192-270104) on any working days from (0600 hrs. to 1500 hrs.),” the release added.
