Tree Plantation and Save Tree Campaign by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF)

Port Blair, July 30: On the occasion of the Van Mahotsawa and World Nature Conservation Day, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, branch Port Blair and Chouldari South Andaman conducted a “Tree Plantation and Save Tree Campaign” at Veer Savarkar Park – Chouldari from 0900 hrs to 1400 hrs on dated 26th July, 2020 and planted 200 Nos. of tree sampling such as Karanj, Ashoka and Neem. This plantation of tree had been organized by the Sant Nirankari Mission throughout the India from 4th July 2020 till 28th July 2020 during Van Mahotsav & World Nature Conservation Day.

Speaking on the occasion, as our valuable guest the Zilla Parished Member, Chouldari Mr. Gajadhar Mazumdar has appreciated the gesture of this mission volunteers, who had organized the plantation at sea sight area of Veer Savarkar Park very systematic way, maintaining a high standard of discipline and rendered their best service to the society. He added about prakrity, plantation of tree, water and life – stating prakrity seva is tree seva and tree seva is water which save human life and the environment.

He quoted the example of tsunami where first services was rendered by the mission and had help all needy people with all kinds of service like Ration  distribution, Medical assistant, cleaning & clearing of debris’s and morally support  to the Chouldari people, he appreciated the way social distancing maintained and caring on COVID-19 guideline given by the Administration. While saluting to the volunteers he explained that during lock down periods, Mission had helped with ration to the all corner of Choludari needy people.

Mr. Mohman Halder, the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Chouldari and Mr. Ashim Baidya, Up Pradhan, Chouldari also appreciated for all kinds of support which is being rendered by the Sant Nirankari Mission time to time i.e. during Tsunami, Lockdown periods, Medical Assistance to the people, Blood Donation Camp and Tree Plantation  or even any emergency when ever sought to be.

At last Mr. Satya Narayan, the Sanjoyak, Sant Nirankari Mandal, branch Port Blair, A& N Islands welcomed all the dignitaries and appreciated for their support to make all events success, also he requested to the Zilla Parishad Member and Pradhan, Chouldari that whenever any social services sought to be, may call Mission, Port Blair and Chouldari branch without any hesitation, also motivated their all volunteers for their presence and services provided during Tree Plantation. Lastly, he thanks to all for sparing their valuable time and support rendered to words mission time to time.
