Port Blair, Nov 04: Mr A P Ahmed Ameen Ex Student of IQRA Public School, Wimberly Gunj, who is the son of Mr A P Jabir Ex Councillor R/o Mannarghat has brought laurels to the school and Andaman and Nicobar Islands with his selection as a delegate for the Asia World Model United Nations II.

The participants for this event have been selected as “Agent of Change” from 8561 applicants from around the world.

They will follow the big event simulation of Model UN session in Bangkok, Thailand which will take place on January 30th – February 2nd, 2019.

Asia World Model United Nations is a platform where youth mentality in leadership, negotiation and diplomacy will be developed in Model United Nations simulations.

It aims to engage youth leaders from all over the world and to provide a platform to share perspectives in opinions with the theme Youth Leaders on Preserving World Peace and Security.

It shall hold a grand symposium with the theme Preserving World Peace and Security which will be conducted by outstanding speakers that will discuss about recent international issues regarding to the topic in each council.
