Port Blair, Nov 04: The Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Mr Sanjib Kumar Mandal, has requested Mr Tarun Coomar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, A & N Administration for development of eco-friendly sustainable Park at Alvis Tekri, Ograbraj on land bearing survey No.1/31 measuring an area 1.00 hect., which has been set apart for the said purpose in favour of Panchayati Raj. He said this would preserve natural resources and promote tourism and improve socio-economic condition of rural people.
