Port Blair, Mar 25: On the issue of construction of culvert between Dairy Farm junction to Hayat Singh junction, the road between Dairy Farm junction to Hayat Singh junction has been kept closed for a period of 30 days starting from 22.03.2021. The vehicles will have to take the following diversion route.
1. Vehicles coming from School Line will be diverted from Dairy Farm junction to old CCS Junction via Vijay Baugh towards Junglighat. No right turn is allowed at old CCS junction.
2. Vehicles intending to proceed towards School Line will take the route of VIP road – Hayat Singh Junction – Old CCS Junction – Dairy Farm Junction via Vijay Baugh.
3. Heavy Goods vehicles intending to proceed towards School Line and towards Aberdeen Bazaar from School Line shall take the route of Nayagaon/Chakkargaon or Carbyn’s Cove foreshore road.
Meanwhile, General public have been requested by traffic police to cooperate and follow the above diversions to avoid traffic congestion.
