Port Blair, Dec 27: The Akhil Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Andaman and Nicobar Islands organized a special lecture on the topic “Swami Vivekananda : Awakener of Modern India” on 25th December, 2019 at Vivekananda Kendra, Lambaline. The lecture was delivered by Manniya D.BhanudasJi, National General Secretary, Vivekananda Kendra,Kanyakumari.
Delivering the lecture he highlighted the gospels and teachings of Swami Vivekananda Ji which play pivotal role in transforming the characters of youth of India for building Nation. He also shared glimpses of challenges in constructing the Vivekananda rock memorial, an epitome of spiritual awakening and vision of new India. He categorically mentioned the untiring efforts of Manniya Eknath Ranade in shaping the dream come true of building of huge memorial in the honour of universal youth icon.
Earlier, welcoming the gathering Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha,President ABVP A & N Islands emphasized that ABVP is rightly aheading the ideology of Swami Vivekananda by channelizing youth energy for contributing in national reconstruction. Further EkalGeet was presented by Mr. Uday Kumar.
