Port Blair, Jan 02: The Andaman and Nicobar State Cooperative Bank has launched its Flagship scheme “20-20 VAHAN MELA” for customers who believe in spending their money smartly and taking responsible borrowing decisions. The programme was officially inaugurated at Island Tourism Festival (ITF), Ground, Port Blair, by Mr. Bhagat Singh, Chairman, Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd. on 01st Jan, 2020 as the Chief Guest in presence of K Murugan, Managing Director, A&N State Coop. Bank Ltd and large number of customers, Agents, Dealers and General Public.
At the outset, Mr. K Murgan, Managing Director, A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd, welcomed the Chief Guest and other delegates. He further informed that such scheme was introduced first time in the history of Andaman and Nicobar State Coop. Bank. Later he said, the scheme not only provides hassle-free and low-cost finance for two-wheelers but also helps those who aspire to have their own vehicle. He further informed that, such scheme was introduced for the extending support and rendering services for the valuable customers from time to time. Altogether a total 280 Nos. of customers were benefitted.
He further spoke on the occasion that this is our way to appreciate and reward to the customers who are financially responsible and spend their money wisely. They will not only receive hassle-free and quick disbursements of the loan, but also get lower interest rates and save on fees. The aim is simple: make their experience seamless. Like we say, ‘Your bike, your papers, your pride’.”
He announced that in future there is a possibility of developing the new Four Wheeler Scheme, which will be introduced shortly.
Mr. Bhagat Singh, Chairman, A&NSt.CB as the Chief Guest of the programme highlighted the scheme of “2020 VAHAN MELA” and such scheme was introduced for the purpose of good customers and general public. He further urged the gathering for bringing innovation in the field of financing. He also appealed to the beneficiaries to follow traffic rules and safety norms.
He briefly informed the gathering that all efforts are being taken to reach out to the demands of our customers and the bank is ready to provide all the financial services to its customers.
Further Shri Bhagat Singh, Chairman, A & N State Coop. Bank Ltd, as the Chief Guest of the programme handed over the sanctioned order of loan to the beneficiaries. Altogether more than 250 beneficiaries were handed over loan sanction order.
The gathering was also addressed by Mr. Balaram, Dealer of Yamaha Co. Ltd. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. M K Rajan Kunju, Deputy General Manager, A &N State Coop. Bank Ltd.
