Port Blair, Nov 21: The Andaman Law College organized a students’ rally on ‘Drug Addiction and Alcoholism’ recently. Senior Scientist and Officer-in-Charge, ZSI, A&N Regional Center, Dr. C. Sivaperuman flagged off the rally as the chief guest. He also highlighted the key findings of ‘World Drug Report -2019 published by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

The Deputy Secretary (Law), Shri Rizwanullah reiterated the commitment of the Administration in prohibiting drug addiction amongst various sections of people in A&N Islands except for medicinal and scientific purpose. The Principal, Andaman Law College spoke on ill effects of drug abuse and alcoholism amongst youth.
