ANNUAL DAY OF MGIS “SHAMBHALA”

Port Blair,Dec 03:  Mahatma Gandhi International School, celebrated its 15th  Annual day with unprecedented fanfare on November 30, 2019 at Dr. BR Ambedkar Auditorium. Mr. K. Srinivasan,  Regional Officer, CBSE, had been invited as the chief guest. He was given a traditional welcome with Tilak and Slow March. Other Dignitaries present were Dr. C. Satish, Director Mr. Nalin Gulechha, Chairman and  Mrs. Ranjana Gulechha Member of Management committee.

The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, play, Musical skit, Instumental etc. The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of Principal Mrs. C.H Swapna, Presented the Annual Report of the School. She made the audience aware of the school’s achievements in academics and co-curricular arenas.

Prizes were given away to the toppers and other students who had brought laurels to the school in various competitions and contests. Addressing on the occasion Mr. K. Srinivasan,  Regional Officer, CBSE, appraised parents and students to follow Gandhiji’s foot step as well as  lauded and praised the school for raising the educational standard.

At the end Master Avinash Kumar Singh( Head Boy ), thanked the chief-guest, dignitaries, and parents for having spared their time to attend the function; he also thanked students, teachers, and the Principal for organizing the function successfully.
