General Public and Political Parties are hereby informed that the ongoing Electors Verification Program (EVP) has now been extended up to 30th November, 2019 (Saturday) by the Election Commission of India. This EVP is meant for improvement of health of Electoral Rolls and enrolment of all eligible citizens during Special Summery Revision (SSR), 2020 by verification/authentication of electors’ details.

The electors are appealed to search and verify their details in the Electoral Roll and indicate corrections in details, if any, including photograph and authentication of entry. They can visit National Voters’ Service Portal www.nvsp.in using their EPIC numbers and verify and update their details, such as name, date of birth, gender, relation type/name, address and photo by uploading any one identity proof. Besides, they can also download Voters Helpline Mobile App and update their details. They may also visit CSCs for verification and updating their details. The elector who does not have internet facility may approach concerned BLO or Voters Facilitation Centres (VFCs) at Tehsil Offices and PwD electors may call Voter Helpline (1950) seeking facilitation.

The verification of details can be done by furnishing copy of valid document such as Indian Passport, Driving license, Aadhar Card, Identity Card of Govt./Semi Govt. Officials, Bank Pass book, Farmer’s Identify card, PAN Card, Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR,  and Water/Telephone/Electricity/Gas connection bill for that address, either in the name of the applicant or that of his/her immediate relation like parents etc. For any clarification, toll free number of CEO Andaman Nicobar 1950 may be contacted or email may be sent to ceo_ [email protected] the process of EVP is available on www.nvsp.in and www.eci.gov.in.
