Port Blair, Jun 05: E-prospectus-cum-application forms for admission to Four Years Integrated Courses in Education viz. B.A.B.Ed. (English), B.A.B.Ed. (Computer Science) and B.SC.B.Ed (Maths) for the academic session 2017-18 in Tagore Govt. College of Education, Port Blair is available online at http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in Four Years Integrated Courses in Education is a dual degree programme designed as integrated programme of Teacher Education aimed to prepare competent teachers for school education. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must have passed 10+2 examinations of a recognized Board in the concerned subject. It is of four-year duration organized on the semester pattern with two semesters in each year with total eight semesters.
The course of study includes general education consisting of language (Hindi and English) and specialized subjects. The professional part of the course consists of studies in the foundations, general and special methodology and a comprehensive internship programme in the field. It is a course of highly specialized nature in Teacher Education where a student is given specialized training to become a teacher soon after he completes schooling along with academic subjects.
Candidate desirous of taking admission in these courses can apply online by accessing the portal via URL http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in up to 30th June 2017. The counseling for admission will be held on 10th July 2017 in Tagore Auditorium and classes shall commence from 11th July 2017.
