Port Blair, Oct 13: A Book titled “Andamaner Itibritta-O-Sangram” written by Mr. Debaprasad Biswas and Mr. Pranab Banerjee retired teachers of Education Department, A & N Administration, published by Main Stream Publication, Kolkata, was sold in the book stalls of Durga Puja Pandal at Bhat Para area. The book received good response from the readers.

In this book the writers gave information about the naming of Andaman, its establishment, populace of Islands, tribals, freedom fighters, rehabilitation after Independence and development of democratic movements in short and simple language.  The book was unveiled on Ratha Yatra Festival– 2019 at Kolkata.
