Port Blair, Feb 11: On 10.02.2021, the Police Training School, Prothrapur in association with National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, conducted an online awareness programme on Social Defence Issues for the Police personnel of A & N Police between 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs. The objective of the programme is to make them aware about Role of Police in creating harmonious environment within the society. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Giriraj, Deputy Director, NISD and Shri. A N Singh, Professor, Dept. of Social Work, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi delivered lectures during the program.

A total of 27 Police personnel from various unit of A & N Police participated in the course through virtual platform.
