Port Blair, Feb 08: On to the request of the people of Kanyapuram village on 7th Feb 2021, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission A & N Islands visited the Kanyapuram village and met local residents. They showed a clogged close to their residence area, which was totally blocked and dirty to the extreme.
Today on 8th February 2021, the Ambassador Swachh Bharat Met with the Director Rural Development, Mr. Vinay Kumar Jindal and brought this matter into his notice. Immediately Director R D took action and instructed Panchayat Secretary to get the drain cleared immediately.
