Port Blair, Mar 25: The process of allotment of General Pool Govt. Accommodation to Government Servants has been made end-to-end computerised, to bring in transparency and efficiency. The salient features of the application are :

Apply online over internet from any-where any time for allotment of Govt. accommodation through the portal in three modes (a) General Pool (b) Change to Higher Type (c) Change to Same Type on repair/mutual/medical/ other grounds.
Download the filled application form.
Track the status of the application.
View the seniority list.
SMS notifications at various levels like application submission, application accept or reject and allotment order details.
Download allotment order from the web.
Submit occupancy of quarter details online.
User Departments
Online verification of the application at different level (1) DDO level Verification (2) Medical Superintendent level Verification (only for out of turn on medical ground/ change to same type applicants (3) H&E Section Verification.
Medical Superintendent can prioritise the online applications which have been submitted based on the medical ground.

Scheduling invitation of applications.
Allotment of quarters through online automated system.
Generation Eviction list.
Update and vacant the Govt. quarter.
MIS and various reports as per requirement like seniority list.
The application was developed by Housing and Estate Section of Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Secretariat through SOVTECH comprising of Miss Nandini Bawali, Programmer in assistance with OSD(IT) and Special Secretary(IT). Allotment of Govt. Accommodations for change to same type on repair/other ground to one batch of 10 (Ten) numbers of applicants was made by Secretary (Housing & Estate) in a single mouse click on 25/03/2021
