Diglipur, Oct 8: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Diglpur organized a training programme on Youth Leadership & Community Development at Radhanagar Panchayat hall at Diglipur from 7th Oct to 9th Oct. In this programme 70 youths from various Mahila Mondals and Youth Clubs participated.
Dr Miss Salomi Medical Officer PHC Radhanagar was Chief Guest on this occasion. In this programme Mr. Swapan Kr Mallick, IPO i/c spoke about self employment and PMEGP programmes, Father Cyprian Xalxo spoke about Communication skills development, Father Gyan Prakash spoke about Community Development. Mrs Kanchan Mondal ICDS spoke about Beti Bachav Beti Padav programmes, SBI Diglipur Manager Mr. Ratan Deep Sarkar spoke about various schemes of SBI banks, Smti Bobby Samaddar, Councilor CHC Diglipur spoke about Awareness of AIDS . Today evening at 4 pm Rally on Swacchh Bharat flagged off by Pradhan Radhanagar Panchayat Mr. Bhaskar Mazumdar. The Welcome speech was delivered by NYK District Youth Coordinator Mr. Jagjeevan Ram. On 8th Oct a Swacch Bharat Abhiyan was carried out at Ramnagar beach which was flagged off by Pramukh Panchayat Samiti, Diglpur Mr. Shyamal Mondal.
