Port Blair, Sept 16: Port Blair Municipal Council has laid foundation for the Construction of Multipurpose Stage at Nayagaon, Ward No.: 12 on 15.06.2020, for the benefit of local residents to organise various functions. The ceremony was witnessed by General Public in presence of Mr. Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, PBMC, Secretary, PBMC and Ward Councillor, W.No.12 & Ward No.15

PBMC also dedicated the Playground with Pavilion facility for general public of Ranchi Tekri, Dairy Farm, Ward No.: 15 & nearby locality, which has a seating capacity of 400 persons with playlot area for Outdoor games such as Football, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volleyball, etc., this will also serve the need of Vivekananda Nagarpalika School.
