Port Blair, May 14: The State Convener of AAP in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Sanjay Meshack has requested the Lt. Governor and the Director General of Police to conduct investigation on the issue of two missing fishermen of Onge Tikeri, Little Andaman.

In two separate letters addressed to the Lt. Governor and DGP, Mr. Sanjay Meshack said that a incident took place on 24/12/2018, when nine people were coming from South Bay (Tribal Area) in a dinghy and the dinghy had capsized. He said that while seven people reached to the shore safety, there is no trace of other two, Jai Mangal Gop & Ajith Kirketta, R/o Onge Tikeri.

He also requested to investigate and find people responsible for this tragedy and legal action against them. The AAP Convener also demanded compensation for the family.
